Lance Armstrong announced he will not compete in the 2004 Olympics so he will probably never win a gold metal. It is understandable because the games are right after the Tour de France so there is not enough time to wind down and get ready. The Tour de France is the race in bicyling so he concentrates on that. Even though he will never win a gold metal in the olympics he doesn't have anything to prove because he has won five straight Tour de France races and may set a record sixth straight one this year. GO LANCE GO!!
