From top to bottom, what is the best 3A district in Texas? I'm really curious as to where the best 3A football is, generally, but I also wonder where the best 3A football will be played this year.

Well district 19 is going to be really tough. 2 teams ranked in the top 20 according to 3adownlow.

District 19
Caldwell
Cameron Yoe
Giddings
Hutto
La Grange
Manor
Rockdale
Smithville

Every one is looking at La Grange & Manor to take the top two spots... with Rockdale, Caldwell, & Giddings fighting it out for third... but the remaining teams - Cameron, Hutto & Smithville have to potential to play the roll of spoiler for any of the three at the top of this district... I'm really excited for this district & can hardly wait for it to start...

Making playoffs in no particular order Rockdale/Caldwell(Dogfight for it), Manor and La grange.

Only 6 seniors graduated off the team and only 2 of them were good.

With eight teams in that district and with what you are saying, looks like it could get exciting.

Maybe so... but that is what makes them dangerous... somebody is going to over look them... Cameron has never just handed over a win... it's a dog fight all the way... especially at home...

Look for Hutto to take the 3rd spot, Hutto beat Giddings last year, and Hutto has everyone coming back from a 6-4 team, Giddings lost alot of players. watch hutto's quarterback, hes the next Michael Vick haha, well maybe im too much of a homer, but trust me Hutto will be good next year.

oh, i forgot to add that Hutto played the #4 team Manor last year in a great game and lost 7-13.

14-3A

Atlanta, D2 Champs
Daingerfield, Pretty good the past few years
Liberty Eylau
Jefferson
Pleasant Grove
New Boston

The big six got tougher with Queen City dropping out and the addition of Jefferson. Each team has been 3 rounds deep within the last 2 years, with Daingerfield making it to the semi-finals, and Atlanta winning it all.

I think 23-3A will be an interesting race.

1.Liberty Panthers
2.Huffman-Hargrave Falcons
3.Mount Belvieu Barbers Hill Eagles
4.Cleveland Indians
5.Splendora Wildcats
6.Cleveland Tarkington Longhorns

That is how DCTF has them.

I think Liberty has the best chance to win the district with Barbers Hill coming in second and Huffman and Cleveland fighting for the third spot. I don't see Splendora or Tarkington having much success in this district. But hey, anything can happen on any given friday.

District 30-3A is a cakewalk for Sinton. The only comp. they will have is Aransas Pass. The District consist of: Taft, Mathis, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, West Oso, and Goliad.

Well, actually West Oso is in a different district this time, but we play them in non-district.

The district with Bellville, Sealy, Rice, Navasota, Columbus, and Hempstead is one of, if not, the best.

Never handed a win to anyone? How about when we were thrashed by Lorena this past season? Or maybe that last game of the year against Marlin? I love my old town and all but those two games were an embarassement. I surely hope to hell that Mike Mullins has this team ready to go this year. They have the talent it's just a matter of putting the people that SHOULD start in the proper position. Kendrick Pinchback anyone? Anyway, I think the team could be dangerous but if it's another losing season, Mullins may not make it through the school year ala Todd Dodge back in '95.
