Predicted Order of Finish:

1. Mt Vernon
2. Quinlan Ford
3. Commerce
4. Winnsboro
5. Emory Rains

1. Mt Vernon Tigers Starters Returning 6/6 Last Year: 5-6
Key Players: DB Tim Monroe, OB Colby Dickson, WR/DE Cooper Williams
Outlook: MV could be much improved with 12 back and 21 letterman to help the cause....last year's team fell to Atlanta 42-17 in bi-district.....Dickson threw for 1608 yards and 9 TD's....Williams is the top reciever back....Monroe leads the secondary....a go to running back needs to be found for MV to have playoff success however....

2. Quinlan Ford Panthers Starters Returning 8/9 Last Year: 9-2
Key Players: QB Aaron Kemp, Ol Michael Hopson, RB Sean Callahan
Outlook: Callahan has HUGE shoes to fill as the graduation of 75% of QF's offense is gone in one Chris Eiland.....the Panthers had a tremendous regular season but it ended last year in playoff disappointment in an OT loss to Pilot Point...many were very surprised to see QF stay in 3A....

3. Commerce Tigers Starters Returning 3/2 Last Year: 7-4
Key Players: OL/DL Will Latson, QB Zach Boles, RB/DB Antonio Johnson
Outlook: Commerce is definatley rebuilding as at least for the time being...as the talent has run dry in Northern Hunt County...Commerce does have a good O-Line but a back to run behind them is critical to the Tigers sucess....

4. Winnsboro Red Raiders Starters Returning 4/6 Last Year: 7-3
Key Players: LB/FB Blake Smelley, DE/TE Caleb Collier, WR BJ Hawkins
Outlook: The Red Raiders missed the playoffs thanks to an upset defeat at the hands of their rival Mt Vernon 24-14 in the regular season finale.....Smelley leads the teams on both sides of the ball..

5. Emory Rains Wildcats Starters Returning 7/6 Last Year: 2-8
Key Players: QB/DB Tyler Jones, RB/DB Aaron Combs, WR/DB Zakk Battaile
Outlook: Jones leads the team on offense and D as he led the Wildcats with 5 INT's las year....ER has one of the beter secondaries in 11-3A but struggles to stop the run...

This was Gilmer's district for the last two years. Now we are back in one which makes more geographic sense.

I would say that the Winnsboro QB named Josh Neiswander deserves to be mentioned as one of the Red Raiders' leaders.
