Predicted Order of Finish:

1. Kennedale
2. Wilmer-Hutchins
3. Ferris
4. Dallas Roosevelt
5. Dallas Madison

1. Kennedale Wildcats Starters Returning 5/7 Last Year: 12-2
Key Players: RB Weldon Brooks, WR David Collins, DB Marcos Ramierez
Outlook: KHS will have some retooling to do on offense losing their top rusher, reciever and passer.....however Weldon Brooks is back in Kennedale's Wing-T and he had 1239 yards and 19 TD's....Ramierez had 7 INT's last year and leads a good secondary....QB is a question mark and if a replacement for Barrett can be found Kennedale could make a long run.....

2. Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles Starters Returning 3/8 Last Year: 5-4
Key Players: WR/DB Dustin Bell, LB Josh McCoy, WR Xavier Rambo
Outlook: Hutch missed the playoffs for the first time since dropping to 3A in 2000.....Hutch should be real strong on D with 8 back and a transfer in McCoy who was all-district at Lancaster....Bell is do it all player who will have the ball in his hands a lot in Hutch's spread..

3. Ferris Yellow Jackets Starters Returning 7/9 Last Year: 4-6
Key Players: RB/DB Carlos Moreno, QB Wes Willis, LB Cord Benitez
Outlook: The speedy Moreno will be counted on to lead the orange-clad Yellow Jackets (am I the only one who finds this odd?) Willis returns to lead Ferris' ground-oriented attack....Ferris hasn't made the playoffs since 2000 when they advanced to the Region 1 Semi-Finals....

4. Dallas Roosevelt Mustangs Starters Returning 4/3 Last Year: 4-6 (in Class 4A)
Key Players: DB Henry Barber, RB David Price, QB Ellis Krout
Outlook: My how the mighty have fallen.....in the late 80's and early 90's Roosevelt was a power house....now they aren't even picked to make the playoffs in 3A.....numbers are very low as only 19 players were suited up last year for the Poines...if Roosevelt can get their numbers up they have the talent to compete in this district....

5. Dallas Madison Trojans Starters Returning 8/9 Last Year: 2-8
Key Players: DB Leon Angton, DB Raphael Preist, OL Marquez Vester
Outlook: The Trojans have lots of starters back unfortunatley many are 2 way players as depth again is a big concern for Coach Johnson....Madison does have 2 excellent cover corners with D-1 size and speed.....
