Predicted Order of Finish:
1. Royse City

1. Royse City Bulldogs Starters Returning 8/8 Last Year: 5-5
Key Players: RB James Mapps, LB Donnie Pierce, DL Jarell Howard
Outlook: 2004 could be the year RC finally gets back to the playoffs...RC hasn't been to the postseason since 1999 when they went 11-1....but with 16 back and a new district things are looking up in East Rockwall County....Mapps has good speed and great hands and could rack up big recieving yards along with good rushing #'s...Pierce and Howard are both D-1 prospects..
2. Farmersville Fighting Farmers Starters Returning 7/7 Last Year: 2-8
Key Players: TB Jarrod Craddock, FB/LB Andrew Shelton, QB Adam Torrez
Outlook: The adjustment period to 3A is over as this former 2A power looks to get thier first playoff berth in 3A....Craddock is a speedster who will see the ball go his way a TON....Shelton is his personal escort and the D's best player......Torrez needs to be FHS second weapon either running or throwing to relieve some pressue from Craddock...
3. Van Alstyne Panthers Starters Returning 6/8 Last Year: 4-6
Key Players: QB Shawn Rolett, WR/DB Travis Shaw, WR/DB Patrick Clayton
Outlook: VA escapes the old 9-3A with Gainesville, Pilot Point and Celina and welcomes newcomers to a much freindlier loop.....VA has a trip of excellent recievers who double as DB's..for VA to have a shot at the district they'll need some balance in running the ball and stopping the run....
4. Bonham Purple Warriors Starters Returning 3/8 Last Year: 1-9
Key Players: RB/LB Jamieson Patterson, DB TJ Washington, RB Julius Scott
Outlook: The Purples struggled last year to a 1-9 mark...but look for big improvment in Fannin County.....Patterson is a 4.6 guy who brings big lumber when he hits you and will lead a veteran D....he'll also be in the backfield along with speedy Scott who is no small fry at 195.....if Bonham's O-Line steps up early they'll be in the mix....
5. Nevada Community Braves Starters Returning 3/5 Last Year: 6-4
Key Players: LB Rusty Roper, QB Aaron Stovall, OL/DL Cody Wood
Outlook: The Braves barely missed their first ever trip to the playoffs last year...and this year will be a rebuilding year.....Stovall will take over at QB after playing WR last year...
6. Princeton Panthers Starters Returning 6/6 Last Year: 2-8
Key Players: WR Justin Taylor, QB Dustin Poole, LB Jesse Helm
Outlook: The outlook could be better on Lake Lavon as Princeton even though picked 6th feels they can contend for their first playoff berth since 1976....Taylor is a speedster with great ability to get deep on just about anyone..Poole threw for over 2000 yards last year.....
