Did ya'll hold them under 600 yards of offense? What type of offense did they run?

Very curious about this #3 ranked team. Sweetwater rnaked high I could have understood, but Peritown? Please tell me about 'em.

Perryton was a very good team but very beatable they like to spread it out a bit then run w/ the qb like a draw it worked pretty well teh first half then we shut it down we beat them on a last minute drive w/ a new qb our starter went out in the first quarter w/ a concussion(sry if spelling is wrong). and we brought in a kid who hadnt played at the position very much. and yes we held them to under 600 yds.

Sweetwater should be in the top 10 in Region I.
Jackson is a good coach, and he'll have the Mustangs ready for another good season.
The only thing that can halt their progress to the playoffs will be injuries.

How many people does the Mustang Bowl hold? When was it built?

The Mustang Bowl added sport turf recently...maybe 2 years ago?
I would estimate the seating at or around 8,000?
These are just educated guesses, somebody from Sweetwater can tell you exact numbers.

I think official numbers are about 6500-7000 in the stands. When you have people setting in the endzones and standing at the top you can cram over 10,000. When Stephenville and Andrews played there in 1998, there was over 10,000 in attendance. Hereford and Weatherford also brought a huge crowd next year. Couple of awesome games.

I heard that the Andrews/Stephenville game was a great game. It was nip and tuck all of the way. Andrews had Shaud Williams in the backfield. Too bad one of these teams had to lose that year.

I almost put when Stephenville and Andrews played for the State Championship, but I didnt want to confuse anyone. Stephenville won that game by a TD, then went on to dominate the next 5 rounds.
