BIG 19 has deployed

According to local info and the local newspaper, our own BIG 19 has indeed been deployed to those damnable sand dunes in Iraq. He told the board he was going, but now it is fully in place.

I know Old Card and Ranger Mom have had loved ones deployed, but I was wondering, is there anyone else we need to especially keep in our prayers? If so, please list them for us to include!

I actually have 3 family members deployed right now....2 in Iraq and one in the Persian Gulf.

The one in the Persian Gulf is supposed to be home on July 26th!

God bless, Big19. I have a family member in Iraq, recently had his Apache helicopter hit by an RPG, made it back to base safely but had to crash land--lost the copter, he was relatively unscathed. A big thank you to those in the military keeping us and our way of life safe.

THANKS everyone!! I am back, at least via computer. Amazing what prayers will do. The first night here, a mortar hit approx 100 yards away from my tent. What a welcome to Iraq. Keep saying the prayers for everyone here and deployed elsewhere. This is not a great place, but the attitude of the miltary people make it bearable. May God contiue to grace each and every one of you!
