I haven't posted mine yet, and I'm always right, so here goes...

1)Jasper- Awesome sophomore QB, this years Div II Champ
2)Gainesville- Terrius Purvey, a repeat Div I Champ
3)WOS- Tons of talent and tradition, but no title this year
4)Sinton- Vulnerable early, but your future Reg IV Champs
5)Atlanta- Speed, Speed, Speed inconsistency returns
6)Marlin- could be this good, or could be just a top 25 team(?)
7)Bellville- A solid program, they should be dangerous
8)Cuero- Experience, talent, tradition, they have it all
9)Abilene Wylie- being in same Reg. as Gainesville keeps em #9
10)Kennedale- Postseason underachievers, but talented

Darkhorses- Vernon, Wharton, Liberty Hill, LaGrange, Daingerfield

Take it to the bank!:D

Short but sweeeeeet.
I like the way you think Chris!
Can I 'copy and paste' this into my "My new top ten poll" so that all your teams will be counted?
:D

chris I'm defently feeling your top two. BOTH of them all I can say about last season is WOW!!! Jasper fell out early last year cuz of burnet but that was a game to remember. I hope and expect good thingd from gainsville and jasper. but all your other picks hmmmmm to me there just big question marks. they don't give me that chill thinking about them like when I think about the other two. But you never know.

Silsbee's got to make the playoffs for Jasper to go DII. Considering that they were 0-10 last year, I'm not too optimistic.

I think Silsbee has a very good chance at being in the playoffs this yr. Moving down to 3A was a good move for them and I think they will be in the hunt. I look for the dist standings to be:
1. Jasper
2. Kirbyville
3. Silsbee

no one has ever mentioned my name and "extensive wisdom" in the same sentence - I'm touched! are you kidding? how are us regular folks supposed to find out the information required to do a pre season HS poll in a state as big as Texas? Impossible I say. But I said I liked your #1, and all of 'em just may be top 10 teams when its all over. thats the beauty of the polls ....

After 5 years of disappointments, this could be the year. Anywhere from 8 through 15 is probably about right. DCTF may be a little high at #5. It's flattering but who knows?
