Is Carrollton Ranchview a good team or bad team. The 2004 season is their 1st varsity season. How do you think they will do

Ranchview is another (new) school in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. They are 3A this alignment because they school just opened this year, but they'll move up to 4A next time around with no problems.

Umm let me warn Class 3A now...Ranchview will be good....real good real quick.....they have around 10 bona-fide Division I prospects and that is no exaggeration from some people who know their stuff (ie coaches, recruting services, etc) they have a TON of talent....last year as a sophmore only JV they went 9-1 against some good competition....I am almost certian they'll make the playoffs..and they could very well win 7-3A.....and with their speed they posess they could cause some damage in Reg 1 Div 2

Duncanville JV 29-0 W
Sachse JV 61-0 W
Keller Central JV 23-7 W
Euless Trinity JV 20-9 W
Rockwall JV 28-7 W
Frisco Centennial JV 26-28 L
Hurst Bell JV 43-0 W
Carrollton American Heritage Varsity 34-16 W
Trinity Christian-Addison Varsity 27-8 W
Dallas Jesuit JV 28-6 W

That is an impressive schedule of 5A and 4A JV's and 2 private school Varsity's.......

Isn't finishing with a losing season and finishing with a losing season not making the playoffs the same thing :D ?

Off the Ranchview subject...But in 2000 Wichita Falls Rider went 2-8 and made the playoffs. They then won two play off games before losing in the third round. Finished up 4-9.

Ok...I am ignorant too. It was in 1998 that it happened. The only reason I remember is because Sweetwater beat Rider that year in the regular season and ended up 7-3 and missed the playoffs.
