I could give this as trivia but most of you wouldnt' get even if you saw the movie probably because it had to be pointed out to me but in the Movie Dawn at Socorro the Desk Clerk of the hotel where Alex Nicol and Piper Laurie are staying at the first part of the movie is played by Paul Brinegar who only has about two lines in the movie. He does not have a beard in this movie and was in many movies but he is best known as the bearded cook Wishbone on the Clint Eastwood Rawhide tv series that started in the late 50s. Also another character who is bearded in Dawn at Socorro is Stanley Andrews who plays Old Man Ferris who is killed by Rory Calhoun in the first part of the movie and is the one who adopted Alex Nicol. He was also in a famous James Stewart movie called It's a Wonderful Life which is often shown on several tv channels at Christmas and is available at many video/dvd rental stores. In It's a Wonderful Life he plays Mr. Welch the school teacher's husband. He hits Stewart in a bar near the end of the movie because Stewart bawled out his wife without thinking.
