That's right the bigger you are the more mass hence greater force developed for a given speed (acceleration). You can attain the same force by either increasing mass or acceleration, that's how those small guys can hit so hard (here that La Grange? ). Weight training makes both possible, so it's quite appropriate really.

BBDE, Actually she has been going to our school's L.O.A.D. workout this summer which is weights/running in the morning,weekdays. She did a 5-day PV clinic mid-June and improved her personal best. My earlier post was "tongue in cheek" somewhat. After having a son in powerlifting the past three years I can safely say that I have NOT attended a PL Meet that I would have bet a nickle that the entire competition was "Steroid-Free"!
