I was big on Mother's Day suggestions, just have one for Father's Day and it's late at that. Spend time with your Father, not just today but throughout the year. You guys have no idea how important you are to your dads. A few minutes every week goes a long way for a dad. They work hard and don't expect too much out of life. Why not give them a small percentage of the joy they deserve by asking their opinion about something? Tell them what's going on at school, or work, or with your kids. For you guys out there still lucky enough to have your dad, cherish the time. Someday he won't be there, ever again. For those of you who are or were in single parent households with a mom, she's been both, guys, and you owe her today. And make a vow, that even if you fall out of love with the mother of your children, you will be there for those children, giving it your all even if your father didn't. And how about thanking the man who raised you that was really your father in every way but blood. Happy Father's Day to all of you who gave of yourselves to your children and their friends and neighborhood kids and others, sacrificing time, energy, promotions, vacations so that they could have more and be all that they could be. You are the greatest!
