Possible access to 3ADL from your cell phone

Hi Everyone,
I would like to hear everyone's comments on accessing 3A Down Low from your WAP Enabled Cell Phone. This way you can post scores, updates, etc directly to 3ADL from your cell phone at the game you're at! It will require Internet WAP access from your cell provider. You can check out a DEMO of this software (which would be integrated with vBulletin) at wap.wiforums.net -- THIS WEBSITE WILL **NOT** WORK ON YOUR REGULAR CPU - MUST BE ACCESSED VIA A MOBILE DEVICE.

Also keep in mind, that the website above is a direct demo from the company who provides the software, and is in no way affiliated with 3A Down Low.

Let me know your comments on this, if it's something you'd like to see done, it will cost under $150 to implement this service.

When you started describing what you had to have as far as on your phone...I have to admit, I was lost.

I think it would be neat....but I would also kinda miss the conversations I had with people who would call their scores in to me for me to update the board!!:D

Seriously though....my friends have threatened to get me a laptop with wireless capabilities so I would have access to the board AT games....this would be just as good!!

I really think that it is a great idea. However, I don't have that capability on my phone. It's a company phone and they would never pay for those options for me. It's free, so I live with it!! But, I would love to see the feedback, scores, etc... from everyone across the state if it is implemented on 3ADL.

my package charges me an arm and a leg to do internet access via the phone, but I know others have packages that would allow them to give score updates..sounds like a winning situation. I wouldn't mind making another donation to make this happen.

Technology is a wonderful thing---yet another way for us to enjoy it. Let's do it! This will give the whole state something to talk about regarding the 3ADownlow, because I think we would instantly become "the" place to go for the earliest game results and progress reports.
