I was just curious since I know most of us will be playing this week. I like to "mix it up" depending on how I "feel" and I like the cash value option.

There is one thing about the 25 year payout most people don't know. If you die before it's all paid out, the rest is NOT a part of your estate, and your beneficiaries don't get it. The state keeps the rest.

Unless, its put into a Family or Limited Partnership or some other entity that will survive your death.

What I would like to know is the ratio of winners when you use your own numbers as opposed to using quick picks. Can anyone help?

I think you can find this information if you go to the Texas Lottery Home Page.

We have a set of number we use every week but when it gets this high... I like to go buy a quick pick or two... just in case our regular numbers don't hit... lol....

this is correct....the money, if you were to die, would go to the government....

All I know is that my preacher said he didn't want any of the winnings. Now what am I going to do with all that money?
