the tigers are back:
Gonzales over lagrange by 10 pts. i predict this one for sure. eek! Don't be so sure, La Grange got thumped badly by Yoakum in last year's openner and came back to beat a strong Gonzales team 34-13 and go 11-1 until losing to Marlin in the third round of the play-offs. This team will come back, I am confident that the coaches will make the necessary adjustments to get the team back on track.

Tojan, here are my thoughts.

Hardin Jefferson 21
Coldspring 6

Barbers Hill 28
Hamshire Fannett 14

And one question, How many players does Coldspring have out for football? 9-12

Hey, can't blame ya.

All together, about 80 guys out, a few more.

What was great is that a starter 2 years ago who saw the difference in the team from the last two years signed on yesterday, another 250 lber. Even if we don't win, which I believe we will, the atmosphere is SO much better. I know that makes little sense to outsiders, but football has to be fun. It's too much work to not be fun.

Oh, and HJ won't score 28, the defense is good, which is what Matthew's been waiting on. LOL Our scores depend on our penalties. 350 yards on the board and a win. Sorry. LOL
