In regards to Huffman from Rice...

On another thread, someone had asked what Huffman ran in the forty. The thread soon became a Marlin lovefest so I'll address it here. He runs a 4.48 in the forty. 5'9", 192 lbs are his latest physical parameters....

Strong, fast, quick.....you name it.......

i saw rice play 4 times the past 2 yrs. and was very impressed with huffman and spears. what a combination in the backfield and spears was awesome on defense. spears injuries in there last games the past 2 yrs. hurt rice bably.

Yep, Spears was lightening in a bottle. He'll do well at Blinn. Huffman will no doubt see tons of 9 man fronts but he's good enough to run through'em...

Huffman, is a tremendous athlete and you are right Crow, a great kid also!! I look forward to watching him this upcoming season. Will be making some trips to Blinn to watch Mike (Spears), as well. Good Luck to both of these young men. They both have very bright futures ahead of them.
