Wharton and Victoria Memorial advance to the state tournament in College Station. Wharton beat Austin, Lamar Cons., SA East Central (37-31) and SA Clark (49-12). Memorial beat Sweeny in their qualifying game. Don't know the score but I know that it must have been close because it looked like Sweeny was mounting a late drive that was stopped by a late int.
