I just found out today that a kid that lived in Greenwood and moved to Perryton last year (he was a Freshman this year) is one of Perryton's pitchers.

I knew from watching him play in little league that he was gonna be good!!

I admit I don't know anything about them but I think they may be the surprise team of the tournament. Any team that can beat the team that beat Canyon must be good. Everyone is expecting a final La Grange vs Forney which is logical but this team may change things.

Perryton is not up to the level on pitching that Forney or LaGrange has. Their strength is their offense, major production up and down the lineup.
Look at what they did to some of their playoff foes. They beat up on Lubbock Cooper who were ranked in the Top 5 all year long.
They started out the season something like 10-2, and have kept it rolling.
If they see pitching in the fat part of the plate, they will hit.
Forney shouldn't take the Rangers lightly.

I was wandering if Perrytons catcher got drafted today, I saw in the 10th round where a catcher got drafted from Perryton High school but it did not say Texas , it just jst said Perryton high school,, please get back with me if anyone knows out there o.k
