Perryton advances with a dramatic second game win over Graham.
Behind in the bottom of the seventh, Perryton hits a grand slam HR to defeat Graham... and I believe the final was 7-5.
Congrats to Perryton on winning Region I.

What a series. First game goes extra innings, and second game is won on a walk off grand slam home run.

Yes it was a exciting series. Both of the games could have gone either way. I listened to both games on the radio and to me it seemed that Perryton was a very solid hitting ball club. They had 3 different kids that hit home runs during the series and one was the 8 hole hitter. Graham seemed to have better pitching and their hitting was solid it just wasn't good enough to win. It is sad that one of the teams had to lose. They had a great season and no one thought that they would make it this far into the playoffs. ALSO WHAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE HEARTBREAKING IS THAT SOME OF THOSE KIDS WERE ON THE REGIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM THAT LOST TO GREENWOOD IN THE REGIONAL FINALS BY 3 POINTS. Anyway what a great series by both ball clubs and Perryton will represent REGION 1 well.
