McNeese State if this is the right guy, #31 i believe was his number.

I believe McNeese is correct. His high school claim to fame is that he ran on the Jasper 400m relay team that first broke the 40 second barrier at 39.9 seconds (hand held as that was how they then kept the national records).

I would expect that Zack will be picked up by some NFL team. SF has been in a budget cutting mood, so the release is not really a surprise. :(

John Davis also ran on that relay, and bounced around the NFL for a few years. Does anyone know what has happened to him?

I was watching him play when he sustained an injury. It was a broken bone but can't remember which one. Did he recover from that?
