especially Ted Kennedy and some of the Liberal Congressmen. It was about Sadam's sons. And this documentary had witnesses and videos of prisoner abuse under Sadam's reign. Talk about prisoner abuse! This sure makes our abusers look like nothing in comparison.

If there was any credibility to that story, the press would be all over it. Right now, the press's formula is if it hurts the president, pound it into their (our) heads, if it helps, run it once and forget about it.

'The Pentagon says 37 prisoners have died in U.S. custody in Iraq or Afghanistan since December 2002. Here are some specifics on 15 deaths that have been classified as homicides, plus one for which investigators haven't yet established a cause.'

There is a picture of that guy in ice when u click the link 'Photos: Abuse at Abu Ghraib ' its the 12th one, and there is another girl giving her thumbs up and smiling within inches from his face... geez :( these numbskull guards/interragators are giving the rest of the guys a bad rap

'Army Pfc. Lynndie England, who appeared in Abu Ghraib prison photographs...will face a military court hearing next month

Army officials scheduled the hearing for June 21-25 at Fort Bragg... Asked who gave the orders, she would say only, "Persons in my chain of command." '

Our media have become nothing more than a huge propaganda machine to elect a very far leftist president, to their liking. New York Times heads up a consort of news liberals with strong socialist viewpoints. Our TVs are saturated via CNN, CBS, NBC, CNBC, ABC with every far leftwing Democratic stance available. Even when they find WMD(mustard gas, sevin gas etc:), they play it totally down as "totally insignificant" just to try to move us closer to total socialism. Folks better wake up and realize that "Toyko Rose", "Hanoi Jane", and "Havana Hannah" have their counterparts doing psychological hardcore propaganda right here on our public media outlets.

I agree with you Old Cardinal! A problem facing us is that most people don't realize they have other sources for news. In fact those other source are much more enjoyable than watching green-card holder Peter Jennings. I say that because he won't even become a US citizen.
Complacency in everyday political involvement has lead us down this socialist road. It a shame but many people won't keep up with what's happening. There used to be a website affiliated with the Democratic Socialist of America. It had lists of every major Democratic congressman or senator who was a member. There were over 100 congressional members! When you read the agenda it followed the Communist Manifesto to a tee!!! It was just rewritten in nicer, more politically correct language. Folks need to realize that communism is not dead. We've got China and Cuba right in our back door. In fact, most major universities are filled with socialist professors and their agendas. But as long as we our so self-absorbed we'll never even realize what's happening until it's too late. The "weapons ban" is a part of their bigger picture. They won't change things overnight, just in small baby steps. What they are doing is called incrementalism(sp?). It happens slowly over a long period so that you don't know what's going on. Recently, we've seen the emergence of a more agressive media. They are becoming impatient IMHO. "Four more for George" would definately put a crimp in their agenda.
I'll get off my soap box now...

So when we hear of americans being abuse it's factual info, but when it's reported of Iraqi's being abuse it's now propaganda?

I did not see the pictures your link referred to. Maybe I missed it, but the story mentioned nothing about a guy in ice.

Several of these deaths have been ruled as justified homicides. As in the case of riots. Some deaths have been the result of medical complications that the interrigators (sp?) knew nothing about.

I don't support prisioner abuse, but answer me this question:

WHY HAS THERE BEEN MORE COVERAGE OF THE PRISONER ABUSE THAN THE DECAPITATION OF AN AMERICAN CITIZEN????

The Rush Limbaugh site has plenty info/videos of the american decapitation/abuse and he IS PART OF THE MEDIA. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten a job at FOXNEWS.

Case in point about the liberal media:

Rush Limbaugh admits that he is a conservative. As do many talk radio folks. How many in the main stream media admit to being a liberal?

I saw the picture and read the story. You made it sound as if the ice is what he died from (perhaps I misread your intent). The story didn't say that. It merely said it was a picture of a dead man packed in ice. Under the circumstances, I can see where the military would order a body packed in ice until such time as a proper coroner can examine the corpse. The story made no mention what caused his death. Of the 15 deaths classified by the media as "homicides", right in the middle of the listings were four that were ruled by the military as justifiable. How can we know if most of them have or haven't been justifiable? The answer is we can't. We must trust our military officials to do the right thing after thorough investigations. The stupid liberal media wants to try these people in the press (and blame it on Bush of course), and that's not the way it works in this country. People are innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law, even if it's the UCMJ the trial is based on. The media needs to back off and let the military do it's job.
