Does anyone know anything about Llano?

Llano is what I call a "gutsy" bunch. I understand they have 2 pretty good pitchers (Brownlee being one). I've listened to some of their games on the local station that serves the Burnet/Marble Falls/Llano area. They just seem to "get it done"! One thing I have noticed is that their defense seems to be all over the place making outstanding plays. Great hustle. Wish I could tell you more............

This could be a very good series. SintonFan, you are planning on going aren't you? Wish I could, but there's no way right now. If you go, please call me with updates, and I'll post them for you.

I'll be in Sinton Thursday and Friday afternoon. I'll head home around 4-5. I might be able to make the game but it doesn't look too positive. If I make it you'll get updates for sure.
.
Thanks for the info Old Dog.

Goodluck to both team. I don't know who to go for Sinton or Llano, so I will stay neutral. But, I am going to pick Sinton to win.

I give the nod to Sinton in this matchup, based on the experience factor. I'll have to be pulling for our district mate Llano, but I can't think of another team that I'd like to see them lose to more than Sinton. The Yellowjackets are capable of winning this series if they don't go in intimidated by Sinton's past success, if they do Sinton wins in two. If a confident Llano team shows up, I expect this to go 3 games with Sinton edging Llano. Good luck to both teams, and may these games be basically error free for both teams. Whomever wins this series will definately be a big underdog in Austin, but when you get to the one game winner take all scenario, you just never know. Good luck Reg IV!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Chris. Sinton only returned one starter this time, so deep playoff experience isn't there anywhere but on the staff. But, in Sinton's case, that's saying a lot. There isn't much on the topic of Baseball that Kasprzyk hasn't seen. I'm hoping they survive this one so I can go watch them in Austin again. Even though we lost the title last year, I thouroughly enjoyed the tournament.

And, you're probably correct. Whoever wins this one will probably get the #4 seed in the tourney. That's okay too, we've been there before.

This should be a very good series. I want to wish both teams good luck.

Dont take Llano for granted, they dont have much of a football team, but they take their baseball very serious. Ive watched them for quite a few years and they have talent and I think will definatly be a challenge. Best wishes to all the boys!

Sorry buddy. I'm in Sinton now. In fact I'm stuck here. My car's radiator is shot. Remember about my good news?;)
If I didn't laugh off this whole week I'd be a basket case. I just might start a topic on everything going on this week. This week has 'Ranger Mom Trip' proportions. LOL I should be back in SA by Saturday if I'm lucky. I cannot promise anything, just say I'll do my best.

Well if worse comes to worse hopefully one of the three local television stations will have the final score and I will post it if no one has posted and update.

Tough break Sinton. Well, Jasper is in the same boat again with Sinton. Lost the first, have to win two in a row just like both teams did last week. Good luck Sinton.

After game one in the playoffs I have always bought a BBQ sandwich (they are great) from Rudy's BBQ in Sinton and they have won the rest of the playoff games that week. I went in and got one just a while ago. Hope it works again! :) Go Pirates!

Matt Trujillo was the pitcher last night. Coach K will probably start Andrew Garcia tonight and go with Daniel Ramirez on Saturday in Game 3. That's the rotation they've been using during the playoffs.
