I don't know that Gasilla meant to make it that restrictive. I believe his thinking on that was to keep it in the realm of games where there was at least a reasonable chance of victory...no guarantees mind you....but just a game that you know would probably be a good game.

Team I'd want to play most in 4A: Burnet (revenge)

There's no suspense in playing Diboll and I'd love to have thought of the Burnet X 5 deal, but j_dog beat me to the punch.

I would have to pick:

1. Marlin- the Bulldogs have put the Leps out of the playoffs the last two years, and I think a try at payback is needed.

2. Bellville- this is an old district rivalry that probably should be restored.

3. Forney- LG has only played the 'Rabbs once, and it was a state championship game.

4. WOS- I wouldn't mind a shot at the 'Stangs.

5. Burnet- Even with Shipley and McGee gone beating Burnet would still be a great accomplishment.

There are many other teams that I would like to watch the Leps play, so also recieving votes are:

6. Cuero, 7. Sinton, 8. Gainsville, 9. Atlanta, 10. Port Isabel

OHSwr19 I have to agree with you on that one...LaGrange would definetly be on my list of teams to play. Great game last year!!!

Even though my Bulldogs aren't 3A anymore..here is my wish list...


FW Wyatt: schools are like 4 miles apart..it would be a big rivalry...

North Garland: it's the school my g/f teaches at.....

Abilene Wylie: beat us in the playoffs in 2000 and 2003...

Sweetwater: Revenge for 1992..

Forney: the 2 times we played were classics..3rd time?

if it were possible id liked to have seen the '01 lake worth play the '01 everman. i think this would have been a very interesting game w/ the bullfrogs defense going against the bulldog offense, two machines like that in a battle, it would have been some fight...

I think the 2002 Everman offense was probably a little more stout than the 2001 Everman offense....just my 2 cents though....LOL the 2001 Everman D was unreal though...

i completely agree, the everman team, especially recently has been outstanding. they have my utmost respect. but you have to admit 7 gamesw/ out a touchdown scored on the defense (no matter who they were against) is very impressive. i honestly think that everman would have won the battle despite my background. but it would have been close.
