I vote for Big Blue Defensive End from Rockdale, on second thought I best go with Purvey........I've seen him play! Sorry Blue, maybe another day.

Does anyone else even have a small chance....because I think Pervey is a shoe in.

Jermichael Finley from Diboll has a legitimate chance, but my money is on Purvey.

Right now I have to go with Purvey, but I reserve the right to change my mind anytime before December;)

I agree, it will more than likely be Purvey, but if anyone else has a chance, it has to be Chandler Dane QB, Decatur or the WR Christian from Decatur. They have a good chance to break some state records this season. However, you can't go wrong with Purvey.

McCoy (I think that's his name) - Quarterback from Jim Ned.

That is a good one. But I think he showed up on the radar too late this year. I am pretty sure the cover-boy has already been decided.

Does it have to be a HS kid? How bout Cedric Bensen of Texas?

We are talking about the 3A coverboy in this thread.

You should start a different thread for the Front Cover Pick.

You're probably right Sans. What classification is Purvey. Will he be a Sr. next year?

Purvey will be a senior.

If he is running at you, try and tackle the imaginary runner that is 3 feet to his left or right. You choose, this way you have a one in three chance of touching him. :D

Kind of like the Tyler Rose type?

Jasper had a guy last year that was tough to tackle. Man I wish Cook hadn't been hurt in the playoffs!:(

It will probably be Purvey but the one who SHOULD be on there is Charles Huffman, Rice Consolidated.

is there any doubt? Terrius Purvey...

Terrius Purvey 1981 yards and 33 TD's...in 5 playoff games he had 920 yards...big time players step up in big time games and Purvey did just that..if he isn't the coverboy something is wrong..

This is an easy one, the best back in 3a, Terrius Purvey.

Cat22

I agree, it's got to be Purvey.

Sans Couth

He is arguably the best back in Texas regardless of class.

Isn't answering that question kinda like answering the question of whether the sun will rise tomorrow?

Purvey.
