that might be why they scheduled it like that....they might want to use their 1's a lot..

My understanding is that L-E has graduation on Thursday night and neither coach wanted to play Friday and then turn around and play again Saturday. That happend a couple of years ago. Forney beat L-E 3-2 in 13 innings on Friday night in Texarkana and the players didn't get home until after 3 AM Saturday morning and then had to turn around and play at noon on Saturday. Everybody was dog tired for that second game.

L-E is 26-7. They finished second in Dist. 12-AAA behind Texarkana Pleasant Grove. I understand they have decent pitching, good bats and are very athletic.
