There was a station, 93.1 FM, with a "Jammin' Oldies" format in Tyler in the late 1990s and on into 2001 or so. It combined the best of soul, R&B and disco from mostly the 70s and 80s. That's where I used to hear that song a lot. Then they ruined it by changing to some sort of lite rock format. I had withdrawal symptoms for six months. Would keep hitting that station on my car radio and coming up with that crappy new format.

Yep, it was an early '80's song. I remember the guys playing it our bus trips home IF we happened to win our game. Otherwise, it was a very quiet trip home! The coaches made sure of that! eek!
