does anyone else hate it when people make excuses for losses. It just floors me to hear people make excuses. All that matters is the scoreboard after the game is over. You know...if you lose...just take it like a man and take the loss.
I saw a team lose to this particular school two years ago 34-30 in a very good game. Then this last year the team that lost two years ago won 10-7. I'm tired of hearing for two years it was a fluke this...a fluke that. Both games were close. Do flukes happen two years in a row in football.
"We had 140 yards in penalties...." Whoopty Freaking Do....penalties are a part of the game. And what makes it even funnier is the reason this team was getting so many penalties were because of false starts....Team A's D-Line was whooping Team B's O-Line to death and had them scared and nervous, taking them out of their game. Isnt that football? Why is it a fluke? Good gawd....
