Inks Lake State Park outside Burnet- July 10,11.




Do you plan to attend? We are going to need to get a rough idea about how many are coming so plans can be made for reservations and how much/what type of foods to make available.
The current plan is to do tortilla burgers for the main meal (Unless someone has a better idea).

Me and my husband will be there. We may have some kids in tow, not real sure on that one yet.

If it's at Inks Lake State Park, then it's 'possible' that I might be able to make it. I'll have to get there and leave early, because I don't want any 'water' drinkers knocking over my wheelchair. I'm nursing some serious injuries, and I'm not expected to be out of the wheelchair until late August or September, but If I can I'll try and stop by for a bit.

I landed squarely on my feet like a cat, but unlike a cat, it shattered both of my heels severely and damaged alot of cartilage in all my foot joints. I will definatly be there with what ever kids dont have baseball or 7 on7 going on. I just kinda get home on fridays and ask my wife for our schedule. Always crazy with 3 boys competeing. Hopefully Burnet will have already qualified for 7 on 7 finals. Im not sure if allstars will still be going on, but summer select games will be, I will miss a game if I need to.

It's too soon to tell if we can make it. My wife sometimes works on Sat. so we don't know. Inks is about 2 hours away for us, so we don't need to camp.:)
We'll do our best to make it.
BTW, we might be moving around that time so I was wondering if some of yall might take a little two hour road trip...:D

You guys need to load up and come, its not a bad day trip from Rockdale if you can't spend the night. Rockdale to Taylor to Georgetown (on 29) then a straight shot on Hwy. 29 thru Burnet till you get to the turn off on the left to go to the park. (if you cross the Inks Lake Bridge and end up in Llano County, youve gon too far. :eek: I made the drive round trip from Burnet to Caldwell for about 3 years when the Austin Chalk boom was going on over there, its not a bad trip at all. Hope you guys can come for the day, if not longer.

We (hubby & I) should be there. I think the two youngest will be at granny's during that time & it's "uncool" for the oldest (just turned 19) to spend time with mom & dad. Of course, it'll be a surprise to hubby. :D No reservations - it's just a hop, skip & a jump.

Boy, the plans of the military are ever changing. Just got word that I am back on the deployment list and will be gone on 26 June. See you all when I get back.
