I don't know which claims I like the best.

The 290lb DE's that can run a 4.4

Or the 130lb DB's that can bench press 380lbs.

I heard Crystal City just got in a new freshman from like Romania or something.

They got him on the scale at 225 he has a frame of around 6' 3'', but the outstanding thing is that his 40 time is like a 4.39. I heard he was benching around 470 squating like at 710 and I don't know about his clean, but just imagine.

Watch out for Crystal City next year this kid is going to be amazing. Think he is going to play quarterback, linebacker, deep snapper, punter, kicker, kick return, and punt return.

I want to know how he is deep snapping and kicking at the same time, because that has to be a first :D :D :D .

HA HA HA HA HA, I don't think so, this guy who you say is a freshman does not have the physical capabilites equivalent to that of a professional athlete, especially at the age of 15.

I SAID he was from Romania, have you ever seen those guys from Romania. Those guys are big, I mean really big. You just wait, Crystal City and Melvin Pujinosky, that is his name, are going to run all over there opponents next year.

One player does not a team make.

I don't care if he's from Timbuktwo, it's not happening by a kid who is 15 years old!!!

BBDE,

I think he was just trying to be silly, just like I was. Go read the whole thread again.

Well I have seen some big strong kids in the lower grades in Texas. I can believe the 6'3" part. I can even believe the 245lb part. But a 4.39 combined with a 470BP and a 710lb Squat all in the same package of a 9th grader is a little tough for me.

It was a hand timed forty, so you know how those go. But Big Melvin is for real :D , believe me I saw him last Saturday.

So when you say he is a Freshman, you mean that he is an upcoming sophmore for the 2004-2005 season. Also being from Romania, I take it there is a possibility that he could be anywhere between 15 and 18 years old right now. Correct?

He is rumored to be around 22, but you know how rumors are :D . The story that I heard was that at immigration the I.N.S. agent that was assigned Melvin was new and that he bloched on the forms and put down 15. This WILL be Melvin's freshman year, and with the U.I.L. loop holes he will be eligible for play this Fall.

its not impossible for a person weighing 135 or there abouts to bench above 300 and run a 4.6 forty, i did them both in high school, not all at the same time though. i wasnt a db, or rb or anything, i barely played, it never got me down though.it was tough, but when your determined you can do it, i dont know about the guy from romania, not to discount him or anything, but a fishy doing that stuff is really big piece of meat to swallow, if he's real and he's gonna play, good luck to him his team and especially their apponents...

There is a big difference in 300lbs and 380lbs

And there is a big difference in weighing 130lbs and running a 4.4 40 and weighing 290 and running a 4.4 40

I think you are trying to misquote me.

We have an 8th grader that can bench 250 lbs. and is pretty fast to. He might be on JV next year as a 9th grader
