When I say "This is their last 'great' shot at winning the title" I mean that...

What does that NOT mean? It does NOT mean that this IS their last 'shot' at a title period...

Just don't wanna be misunderstood again...

Thanks...

Ha, in the coastal plains it's always huntin' season...

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a big smart-butt here, I don't read between the lines all of the time myself, just wanna make sure everyone understands what I'm saying...

Gobbla2001:
Last 'great' shot...I would have to disagree with you i know for a fact that the junior class has a bunch of really talented athletes and the varsity football team is half juniors, half seniors look at the roster and u will see

And I'm stickin' with it, last 'GREAT' shot...

They'll have a good shot next year as well, but what I mean by 'great' shot is that they could beat 90% of the 3A teams in the state when only playing at about 90% of their abilities, meaning at 110% percent they're almost unstoppable...

Why are they like this?

#1 is talent, they have a lot of good talent...
#2 is coaching, they have great coaching
#3 they returned 85% of their starters off a VERY good team
#4 they bust their butts every single play

They'll have most of that back next year MINUS 85% of their starters, which is a VERY good thing to have, esspecially when they went the deepest they ever have in the playoffs (experience) the year before...

When you return that many players off that good of a team, you have a GREAT shot... Last year they had a GOOD shot, but returned that 85% of experienced starters, giving them a GREAT shot...

A great shot in my mind is a top 5 team in the state...

Don't cry because I don't think your team's gunna be in the top 5 teams next year, they'll still be a top 15'er in my mind, meaning they'll have a 'good' shot...

Remember now, there are 206 schools in 3A, you should feel good that I even say they have a 'GREAT' shot at it...

Geez, gotta walk on egg-shells round these folks...
