I am not a huge baseball fan by any means, however: a perfect game is something to put in the history books, at age 40/41 makes it that much sweeter, to reach a 3 ball count only once and that was in the second inning! To top this all off, the man is in his forties, one of the last pitches he threw was clocked at 97 mph. That is sick, it deserved to be the TOP TEN #1 and as far as I am concerned to be an instatnt Classic. Another awesome fact, it did not happen in Arizona, but I believe those in Atlanta ( I may be wrong) were very appreciative and gave him a standing O, that was awesome as well.

well Green Ranger....this will make ya happy....it will be a classic (if ur refering to ESPN classic channel) because all those games they have on tape that were perfect r considered classics so im sure u will see it on there.....AND if u go to a game and a pitcher pitches a perfect game no matter if he is visiting or not the fans normally cheer for him UNLESS if it is in philly.....they will even cheer for no hitters (like the NY fans last year in the astro's 6-man no-no)

The final pitch that he threw... was clocked at 98 miles an hour. WOW! You could tell he was comfortable because he was falling off the mound.
