Do Hampshire-Fannet and Columbus play each other this week? If they do that should be a very intresting matchup.

They do play each other next. I am unsure of the dates.

Glen Rose elected not to play a district "playoff" game to decide who took district seedings, so... to consider them a third place team is only by the book.

Glen Rose is a salty team and it's interesting to see them match up with their district counterpart FW Castleberry.

Should be a great series.

VWG...So Glen Rose just chose to take the Third Place playoff spot rather than try for a chance at Second? Thats unusual.

Only the first place team gets the bye. So a coin flip would be the way the settle 2nd wouldn't it?

I read in the FW Star Telegram that Glen Rose declined to play in a district "playoff" to determine seeding. That they would take the position given them and go forward into the playoffs.
That district with Glen Rose, Kennedale, FW Castleberry, and others was very competitive in baseball this year. They had a 4th place team.. was it FW Carter Riverside that had a good team as well??
