Alright, I am wonderingwhy there aren't any negative remarks from this clip. Probably because everything on that clip was great, other than the possible "how long did it take to put this together?" I think this goes to show soccer is a sport with athletes.

I took the 2 minutes out of my life it required to watch it and I will say this. I still don't understand the game. It looks like hockey with a ball, and bad goalies. :D

You need to go to a real game and study it then you will see the passion and popularity of the game. But I must admit unless my son is playing I only like to watch the college women's soccer and the world cup and olymphics and only if the USA team is winning and playing good. Still all those great shots took place in soccer. Pretty good point isn't it 66? :)

Couple things to think about: If soccer is such a bad sport why are the younger kids in America playing it and not football? Why isnt the World playing football? If football is a better game why do the coaches call the plays at the high school level, not saying kids are athletes, however they are more like pawns in a chess game. Why is soccer played year round? Why are there time-outs in football when the clock stops already? Why was the leading point getter in the NFL last couple years, if memory serves correctly a "SOCCER" style kicker. What was the number one ranked team sport in the nineties? Wasn't football. Soccer is played by males and females, indoors and outdoors, year round around the world by people of all ages. Is there a Freddy or LeBron in the NFL? Here is to football as they are athletes, so are soccer players.

If you tried to play football year around you would have half of the highschool in the hospital by week 20.

Why are there time-outs in football when the clock stops already?

If soccer players got hit from behind by 6'3" 225lb Defensive Ends on every other play, my guess is they could use a 'time out' every now and then too.

Not trying to be a bummer and all, but why does this have to be the greatest sports competition? I'm not saying that I am a pro-soccer advicate, but I am saying that soccer is a sport just like football and baseball.

Lets just say that most NFL football players couldn't even dribble a soccer ball, and that most soccer players couldn't take the hard hits of Ray Lewis and Bryan Urlacher.

Those were some pretty remarkable shots of athleticism, that came from years of practice. If you think that soccer is a sport for wusses and pansies go buy a soccer ball and see just how good you are :D :D :D.

It is not my contention that soccer is not a sport. I just don't belive it is much of a 'spectator sport'.:D

To me it would be more fun watching two girls wresting in the mud while wearing bikinis. Ok, maybe that is not a good comparison.

I think I would rather watch something with a little more hitting and a lot less male leg showing.

Trust me, I went to a soccer game one time at the cotton bowl, and the fans are much more physical than the players.

Kennedale started a soccer team this year (let's not get into that lol) and I decided I would play, although the only experience I had with the game was watching lik 10 seconds of it on TV...........I went through the whole season and I STILL don't understand most of it :D Anyways, before I played, I thought soccer was a sport for wusses, and boy was I wrong. If you think running non-stop, trying to take a ball from a player, or trying to weave through 11 players while dribbling a ball is easy, you must be pretty darn good. Soccer is just as much of a sport as football, only not everyone is right for it (like me:D) Soccer is just another chance for people who are athletic, only in different areas to shine.
