I agree that being 6th in the state of Texas is nothing to be ashamed about!
Just think, being in the top 10 in our great state would be like being in the top 5 in most other states.
I once heard a sports announcer in Alabama talk about football recruiting. He mentioned how the number one recruit in Alabama might not make the top 5 in Texas. So, congrats and be proud!

Well guys what can i say. I promised this whole year id make it to state an i did. I didnt do as i expected to alot of it was because of pressure an well i couldnt keep my foot into the ring it was really really hard if you where there watching everyone was foot fouling. Iv been scouting all of the top Discus prospects in 3a all year long an did not expect anyone to be throwing 177 like the kid from clyde did or menley from rockdale to hit a 170+ throw it just blew my mind away when everyone was warming up. I scarted 5 of my throws an the only one i got in was 156 foot throw. I agree i was disspointed really bad but comming into this meet being rank 2 in the state well is quite a achievment in its on. Thank you for posting about me im glad someone cares thanks to all who attended an hopefully youll see me throw in college where lots more is to come.
