As a point of interest P.J. Salone hit a home run for Sinton with two men on base when the score was 6 to 3 in favor of Sinton. It was a great hit and easily cleared the fence. He also had several key hits over third base during the two games played today.

Way to go PJ! Great Job PIRATES! Phil or p4s, please let us know as soon as you hear details for the next round. I know it'll be against the winner of Hildago/Hondo, but haven't heard how their games 2&3 turned out. They played today at Kingsville. Hildago won game 1.

66 I just found out from the Corpus Christi Caller Times newspaper that Sinton will be playing Hidalgo so evidently Hidalgo won their series with Hondo. They probably won't know when and where the game or games will be played until tomorrow. I or Pirate will post it whoever finds out first. I am hoping that they can have it at Kingsville at the Texas A&M at Kingsville baseball stadium. We will see.

Kingsville would make sense, however, they just played this last series there, and may not want to play there again. Hopefully, they will agree to that.

I've heard that we will play a best of 3 series w/ Hidalgo in Hidalgo :(. Guess we lost the flip! :doh: As soon as I find out dates and times, I'll post those. My guess is Friday & Saturday games b/c of distance.

Well Phil, you may still be in luck. Now I'm hearing that one game may be played in Robstown at Avaitor field on Friday and the 2nd (& 3rd game, if needed) in Edinburg on Saturday. :confused: I guess we'll know more tomorrow. :clap: I'd be happy with a half way point, but to drive all the way to the Valley 2 days in a row would suck! :eyetwitch:

I agree Pirate! It didn't make sense to have all three of them in the valley just like from their point of view it wouldn't make sense for them to have them all three up here. A good halfway point would have been Falfurias but still one here and two there wouldn't be too bad.
