I would like Kirbyville to play someone besides
Timpson and San Augustine and Tarkington. They need to play a team that will give challenge. Win
or lose.

I would like to see Gilmer play Kilgore, Sulphur Springs, Mt. Pleasant, Hallsville, and Atlanta in the pre-district. Five excellent teams, and we may not win one game, but look what good it did Atlanta this year.
They lost to Mt. Pleasant (4A), Texas High (4A defending state champion), Hallsville (4A playoffs), Marshall (4A), and they beat Paris (4A)! Good pre-district schedules make good teams!

I would like to see Manor vs. Burnett, anytime anyplace, even with some of our grads gone, we still got game!

I agree with Danaher on that one as far as Calallen vs Sinton due to the high injury risk. I wish Sinton would drop Gregory - Portland too. I can go with Cuero since Cuero is also a 3A school. The past two years we have played Gregory-Portland we have had too many early season injuries in that game which has hurt our team so I hope we drop them from our schedule like a hot potato.

Hey Phil, what do you think about Sinton vs Raymondville? We've played each other in nondistrict two years now, I know I've enjoyed the games. I think it would be good for Raymondville to play a team like Sinton.

I'd like to see Gainesville and Celina keep the new found rivalry going in a non-district game next season.

Hey Ray I wouldn't mind keeping the Sinton - Raymondville game going because both schools are in 3A (at least right now) plus the schools are far apart where the rivalry would not be as great which helps eliminate cheap shots by both sides that risk injury. Also the games were good games too. If they play again in 2004 Ray the game will probably be in Sinton so if we are both able to attend look me up at half time maybe.

Sounds cool...I guess we have to wait and see what realignment does to our districts looks like 31-3A has a couple of schools that will be going to 2A. Wonder which district the UIL will take schools from to complete it...30-3A or 32-3A.
