Playoff game site weather reports for this evening(Thursday)

I just wanted to start an info thread on weather conditions---
Columbus and Bridge City are playing at New Caney(north of Houston up Hwy 59)....That is the weather condition in that area right now?

Also, please post if any games or cancelled or delayed tonight on this post....

Yes, I am planning to come over tonight. The weather for New Caney at this time- 3:30 pm shows light rain however. I will leave out at 4:30 if it looks like the game is on....

The BC/Columbus game scheduled for Thursday has been rained out. There will be a one game playoff instead of a two out of three scheduled for Saturday at 1pm at New Caney or possibly another location.

Bellville vs. Hamshire-Fannette game rained out tonight.

First of 3 game series will be played Friday night @ Klein Collins, 7:00

Sat. 1:00 start time still a go as far as I know.

It has been cloudy and dark here in Sinton this afternoon but no rain yet.

The last weather report is that it will possible rain tomorrow but fortunately our game is supposed to be played at a fast draining field. It may get the test.

From the BH sports report

Both the baseball and softball playoff games have change the site for tonight's games. The baseall game is at 6:30 while the softball game is still scheduled for 7:00.

Baseball will play at a complex known as Baseball USA. It is located off of Beltway 8 on the west side of Houston. The address is 2626 W. Sam Houston Parkway North.

The softball game with Elgin will be in Brenham. The directions that were given to me are:

Take Hwy 290 to Brenham
Exit Loop 557 (Horton Drive) to the right
Turn right on BUS 36
Turn right at the first light

Note: Based on current weather conditions, the softball site could change again. If it changes before 2:30, I will post the changes.

Elgin/BH game was rained out tonight because they were at Caldwells Softball game against China Springs in Gatesville. Scoping things out I guess. Caldwell beat China Springs 15 / 1 in 5 innings. Caldwell really hit tonight but China Springs didn't seem to have it in them tonight. Made a lot of errors and we took advantage of them. Way to go Lady Hornets!!
