Well - that's what it looks like here today... seems tornados are spawning all around the Brazos Valley... I live out in the woods - close to the Burleson/Milam county line - they have officially reported 17.5 inches of rain this morning... I may need a boat to get home this evening...

Please be very careful........Water is nothing to take for granted.... In July of 2002, we had 40 inches in one day....Huge flood.....will never forget seeing our Dairy Queen and Strip Mall with 6 ft of water in them......was totally unbelievable!! Take care!!

I just came in from a UIL meet in Smithville...one of the ladies over there said they "heard" that Granger is being evacuated because the dam had broke.....I don't know if that is true, I hope not! (You know how stories start so there may be no truth to that at all)
