Showdown - Spurs vs Lakers in Game 5 tonight

This could be the deciding game tonight in San Antonio. Will San Antonio be able to win with the homecourt advantage or will LA win with its' new momentum the last two games? If the Spurs win they will have a 3 - 2 advantage and at least be guaranteed the home court advantage in game 7. If the Lakers win the series will probably be over since Game 6 is in LA. The three two advantage tonight will be much more better than when SA had the 1 - 0 or even 2-0 advantage that has slipped away from them. I am a Spurs fan but unfortunately the Lakers have the momentum and will win this series and on to NBA championship again. :(

On Tuesday night on television they said the game was going to be Friday night instead of tonight but either way it is tonight and not tomorrow night. I guess they found out I had to go to a softball game tomorrow night. lol

Thank you Jasper. The main thing for the Spurs to win is that they have to keep playing consistently good the whole game. They beat the Lakers the first half the last game but let it get away from them the second half. They did come back but too late to win the game.

The real question is whether kobe will be in court today. If not, the Spurs should win. It's those court days that he's goes nuts.

True...I have the news on all day at work, and haven't heard that he is. I mean, it's all over the news when he does something with the case.....how pathetic is that????? Guess this Iraqi prisoner abuse deal has put him and his worries on the back burner for now. :rolleyes:

I don't think he has to report to court now until August. Maybe that is good news for the Spurs.

Spurs are down at the half 40 to 33 in SAN ANTONIO! I hate to say it but Lakers have it! This game goes to LA and La wins this series in 6. :(

Spurs are down by one point with a little over three minutes left! They made a basket but didn't shoot till after the 24 second time limit so it doesn't count. They will not pull it off! This is the big L! :(
