Just found the following on the KJAS site. Gary Hennigan was an outstanding first baseman for Jasper back in the early sixties. I am sure the family would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Tyler County Sheriff Dies Due To Cancer
Mike Lout- - Tyler County Sheriff Gary Hennigan has died at the age of 59, following a long battle with cancer that reportedly began some four years ago. Hennigan, who had served as Sheriff for some sixteen years, died early this morning at a Woodville nursing home.
After learning that he his cancer had came back, Hennigan announced last year that he would not be seeking reelection and if he had lived, his term in office would have ended at the end of the year.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office said that funeral services for Hennigan would be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday at the auditorium of the Woodville High School.
