As usual please be specific whether it is baseball or softball.
In softball the Sinton Lady Pirates still have a postponed game to makeup from yesterday with the Orange Grove Lady Bulldogs. Rain is playing havoc today. I hope they can find a place to play because it would be horrible to both teams especially the losing seniors to have to rely on a coin flip to see who advances. They are meeting now to decide what to do. I would rather see them play in the mud and rain (as long as there is no lightening or danger) than to rely on a coin flip.

The game between Orange Grove and Sinton (two cities less than 40 miles apart lol) is to be played at 5:00 P.M. today in Laredo (about 140 miles from Sinton and 114 miles from Orange Grove) due to wet fields and weather. That is better than a coin flip. I won't be able to go that far but I have been promised by someone going that they will call and tell me what happens. Whew! Been a long time since I missed a Lady Pirate playoff softball game or so it seems :) .

Sweetwater beat Greenwood (baseball) in two games in San Angelo. Scores were 3-1 and 2-1. Both games errors hurt the Rangers.
