Was supposed to have been announced on the radio but I didn't
catch the broadcast. Surely someone else knows.

Huh? Why @ Palestine? I was told Connally wanted one game. They must have one hoss pitcher to have only wanted one game whereas Jasper has two good pitchers. As for as why Palestine, good question.

Sounds unfair to me. If Jasper happens to lose both, they will have been eliminated from the playoffs without a chance to play a home game. It seems fairer to play at a neutral location for the third game, if necessary.

What a bum deal for Jasper! Unless I'm wrong it's about a 4 hr trip, maybe 5 hr in a school bus, to Waco. That means 8 to 10 hours of traveling for Jasper on Friday, then play a game on Sat if it goes to 3 games.

Odds makers would have to pick Waco. They pitch their ace on Wed and win, then he can pitch again on Sat. with all the J Dogs tired out. Plus, Waco will be gunning to avenge their football loss.

Of course Jasper could win the first 2 games!

good luck jasper when yall played here friday i was impressed most everything yall did while fielding was very crisp and the outfielders have amazing arms and yall also hit the ball very solid many line dirves i get the impression that baseball is very important in jasper.... it seemed to me like the players hit almost all year round well once again good luck through out the playoffs

With this set-up Jasper had better win the first two games! :( I hope somebody will tell how in the world they came up with such a deal. Hopefully, they flipped and Jasper had an equal chance of it going the other way.

Thank you for the encouragement. Yes, baseball IS very important to Jasper. Jasper has a lot more trips to the baseball Semi's than they do for football.

That hasn't always been the case, particularly when we were 4A... with the exception of the football and track programs.

We definitely have our share of athletes. We'll just have to wait and see what the future holds.

I'm really excited for this next year in football. We had a young team. With that playoff experience, hopefully they'll exceed what they did last year.

Of course Jasper could win the first 2 games! Mixon must have lost all the coin flips but the one for the 3 game series.

I'm still lost as to why one of the first 2 games is not at home. Can anyone in Jasper get some info on this?

If the baseball games are anything like the football game, look for extra innings.:)
