What team(s) would you like to see your team play this comming up season that isnt already our your schedule??? for me i would have to say hmmm La Grange, Caldwell, Rockdale, Gatesville. China Spring, Newton and Waco Midway(i like they'er band ha ha)

It probably won't happen this year, but next year I would like to see a Ballinger/Celina matchup. (since we are both 2A now), of course with Ballinger coming out on top!!!

I'm with Old. I would love to let Cuero play G-P instead of us because of the injury factor that has happened to us the past two years. And then I would like Sinton to play Odem because that was a great rivalry but of course Odem is smart and probably wouldn't want it.

Of course I would have liked to have continued to have the games with Raymondville because both are 3A schools and played good games the past two years.

I know these won't happen anytime soon (some almost did) but here they are, the teams I would love to watch Port Isabel play on an occasional and/or regular basis.

Port Isabel vs. La Grange (almost happened for next season)
Port Isabel vs. Sinton (two classic matchups in the 90s)
Port Isabel vs. La Vernia (payback time)
Port Isabel vs. Cuero ('nuff said)
Port Isabel vs. Rice Consolidated (that was fun!)
Port Isabel vs. Sealy (payback time X 2)

you can't hold that against the coach...I mean, sure, it would have been a great game to see, but think about all the travel time involved...that's about 8 hours round trip for one game...that would be expensive for the visiting team, and probably very few fans would be able to go to a game that far.

Well Poncho, I had to throw that in there for Jasperdog94 and Spiveyrat, because of them acting like they still want a piece of us (lol). Jk Man, last year's meeting was a dandy. I'm going to miss the playoff rivalries with Wharton, Sinton and Jasper.

I think that's great that after just 2 years in 3A ball, Jasper's already developed a rivalry.:) I too wish it could continue.
