Jasper got mentioned in the Beaumont paper!!! Must be about to snow!

Jasper plays Fairfield in Jasper Thursday at 7pm.

Not much there really. I thought the entire article would be about Jasper. No such luck.

We play Fairfield in a best of three series; first game on Thurs in Jasper, 2nd game on Fri in Fairfield, and if a 3rd game is needed, it will be in Lufkin Saturday at noon. Fairfield has a 14-8 record and finished 3rd in district 19. Jasper is 24-5 for the season.

Not a great record in Basketball. But, that is changing. Jasper has 10 really good players off a dominant sophmore team that will be juniors next year. :)

Maybe so, but you are not picked to take the district Jasper will be in. :D Now maybe in bi-district.

I only said they were mentioned. :)

Funny how a team doing as well as Jasper slips by the whole season without a mention until they are in the playoffs. Since we are only a lowly 3A team now, I guess we aren't worth the press. :rolleyes:

We were never worth the press when 4A as long as WOS was doing well...which was all the time.
