In 4A , Third team 20-4A Nederland downed Huntsville 2-1. Sophomore Shauna Kelly struck out 10.
Second team 20-4A Little-Cypress-Mauriceville beat Conroe Oak Ridge 5-4 on Sophomore Cody Trahans HR; they play Taylor for the area round next week. I predict a big win for LC-M in that game. Nederland will play #3 Brenham in the area round next week-I predict a surprisingly close game in that one, only because that 20-4A District is so good. PN-G is ranked #1 in 4A and are working hard this week to maintain that focus they will need.

In 3A, Hamshire-Fannett picked up a 5-0 win over Huffman-Hargrave...Allie Gibbs struck out 6 and allowed one walk. H-F is superbly Coached and just may give LaGrange a good game next week for the area round.

Baseball scores around the area:
Lumberton 14 Central 0
PN-G 8 WO-S 0
Ozan 5 LC-M 4

According to the Temple Daily Telegram, Troy beat West 7-1. I would like to know who won the Lorena game.
