Brahmanettes 5, Lady Flyers (St. Joseph's of Victoria) 4
A trememdous game tonight. Didn't know much about TAPS St. Joseph's (5A) coming in, but they're really scrappy. They had 2 excellent pitchers which both threw tonight. Bellville took the lead on a suicide squeeze, then St. Joe's got a homer. Bellville then went ahead 2-1 and looked like they'd bring it home. But in the top of the 6th, the visitors scored 3 after 2 were out to make it 4-2. Bellville kept battling with an unearned run in the 6th and 2 in the bottom of the 7th after two were out on back to back RBI by Buenger to tie and Luetge (Freshman) to win.
Bellville plays Lexington (Texas, not Kentucky) tomorrow at 7:00 at home.
