SINTON vs. MATHIS

Just heard that the Sinton Pirate baseball team will be playing the Mathis Pirates in Sinton tomorrow nite(4/29/04). Sinton will be looking for revenge for the defeat that Mathis hung on Sinton the first time around. It was Sinton's first district loss in some time. All Sinton fans need to show up for support of the team. Good luck Sinton!!

It was originally scheduled for Friday night but it must have been moved to Thursday because of the many baseball players that are participating in the regional track meet in Kingsville Friday and Saturday.

That won't be a problem '66...Phil is always cheering!! :D The San Pat published the region track schedule and it would have been kinda hard for our starting pitcher to be in 2 places at once. He is scheduled to run the 300 meter hurdles at 6:05P, Friday night and with a game time of 7P, it would have been a pretty amazing feat for him to run hurdles, haul a** back to Sinton, from Kingsville, and pitch a very important game!! Thank goodness someone came to their senses and rescheduled this game. :clap: SO, if you're in the area and want to watch what should be a very good game, please stop by and support our SINTON PIRATES!! :thumbsup:

Sinton and Mathis were 0-0 in bottom of 6th. Sinton loaded the bases with 1 out. Scored 2 runs on an error. Sinton 2 Mathis 0. All I know for now.
