I have heard a lot of good things about Forney and Princeton. How much depth do these teams have on the mound? Is Forney really that stout of a team?

I can't blame her for being proud; the Bellville baseball program is a good solid one. I certainly don't mind your attack on older folks but good manners would prevail if you did not attack the Moms on the board. They have a special place in a lot of hearts on this message board.

Ditto. We love our moms on the Down Low. BrahmaMom, Ranger Mom, Rattlermom, Cheer Mom.... we love 'em all.

And BrahmaMom doesn't claim to know alot about sports. I will say, though, she knows more than the average mom. Of course in that house, she doesn't have much of a choice.

OC, let's review this. Jasper beat Bridge City in their one head to head contest, and Jasper is still playing baseball and BC is not? Yet BC is #3 while Jasper is down tied for 10th? :evilgrin: ;)

It goes to show hind site is more accurate that foresight. At least OC had the courage to put his list up before the playoffs! The rest of you waited till after the fact to criticize. Had you criticize before you would have had more credibility especially if you had listed your top ten instead of waiting and using hind site. Great courage OC! And it is a common problem! I have used hind site too in this forum so I am just as bad.

Phil, most of us Jasper people have now learned the hard way to do most of our forecasting AFTER the games are played. I just had to poke a bit of fun at OC for ranking his Cardinals ahead of Jasper in spite of their head to head results. Especially when their records and teams played were so similar. He said it was cold the day Jasper beat BC. Well, it was cold for Jasper too! :cool:

Your right about Hudson beating Jasper twice but that was in a one game seris. Does Hudson have the depth that Jasper does to win a three game seris? We may never know, but I think Jasper can hang if givin an oportunity. Any way thats my reasoning behind putting Jasper ahead of Hudson From what Ive read Jasper has pretty good depth.

I'm not for sure what their record is but they are the district 10 Champs. They beat Atlanta in the second round in two 6-1,7-0. to me thats a pretty good showing for round two. Like I said folks I'm guessing here I wouldn't put any money on it.

forney has got to be on there somewhere....they have lost to only 4A and 5A Top teams....that has to sneak them in. But I guess that is the beauty of the playoff system. I guess we will soon know who the Top 4 are at least....

From what I have read Hudson has two very good left handed pitchers. Until Jasper beats Hudson on the field, OR beats the team that beats them, I would definitely rank Hudson ahead of Jasper. :)

RBARKER, it is okay for YOU to rate Jasper higher than Hudson. It is just that Jasper fans cannot. Hudson whipped our %$%$'s and until and unless we get a chance for payback, that is just how it has to be. :(
