Texas men's golf team, won an unprecedented third-straight conference title by 5 strokes over OU today...and the UT womens team won their second conference title by 7 strokes over Texas A&M this past Sunday.

......Hook'em Horns!!!

Okay Gents…

I will agree with you, as far as Mac Browns lack of accomplishments, but that’s another issue, at another time…even though he has a .766% winning percentage at 59-18-0…He has as many if not more Conference Championships, say as:

Emory Bellard .642% 0 Conference Championships
Tom Wilson .500% 0 Conference Championships
Gene Stallings .353% 1 Conference Championship

Or as:
John Blake .353% 0 Conference Championships
Gary Gibbs .652% 0 Conference Championships
Howard Shnellenberger .500% 0 Conference Championships

Granted 40, 50 & 60-point blowouts, will not cut it. But from these mentioned coaches…respective football programs they too competed against the best in their time. But lets not forget…this thread had nothing to do with Mac Brown or the football program(s)…depending on which team you support. Just acknowledging a couple of BIG XII accomplishments, here recently.
