Tonight the Caldwell Lady Hornets played Franklin and won in 8 innings 2-1. The Lady Hornets went up and down all night getting hits here and there. Franklin was a very good team and got some hits in there as well. An error in the 7th caused them to score to tie the game after Caldwell had scored in the 1st inning. We then got a hit from a player, then a bunt who advanced the runner to second base and then a hit to right field to score the runner. They did well and are preparing themselves for Brenham this Friday at 7:00 in Brenham.
